This week's Monday Market Watch...The real estate movement for the City of Austin is as follows in the graph. Due to the shelter-in-place provision, new listings are down, pending sales are down and many sellers decided to hit the pause button by removing their homes from the market. The City of Austin has stopped new home construction and highly discourages in-person showings. We may still close ongoing transactions, as lenders, title companies, appraisers and inspectors are still allowed to work. And, we may do virtual online showings, open houses and home tours.
