This week's Monday Market Watch April 13th. The real estate movement for the City of Austin is as follows. New active listings to the market decreased 16%, pending sales are up 9.5% and the withdrawn properties reduced by 31% this week compared to the week prior. To put things in perspective, if we compare the week prior to the shelter in place order, it looks like this. The week prior to 3/23/20 had 329 new active listings and the week prior to today had 182 new active listings. This translates to a 45% decrease at a time in the spring when things are normally getting busier. See the video below for more details.
